Actually, I think the husbands would be fine with letting Minnie treat them as her grandkids. Of course that means having to share them with her, and trusting her take care of them but she is on top of their list of babysitters to go to.

It might be hard for Violin at first, especially because of what happened with his own grandmother (just missing in your AU), but he’ll gradually warm up to the idea as soon as he sees how Minnie is with the twins.

Minnie loves being a grandma to the kids so much (and she knows that Rupert and Charles will have a kid eventually cough cough) she just wants someone to baby for a while.

But I also can't help but think of the fact that that would mean that Jaques is unintentionally their great uncle and well... let me sum it up in a Grunkle Stan incorrect quote.
